Pathology Services, P.S. is a private practice pathology group based at Deaconess Medical Center, serving Deaconess
Medical Center, Veterans Administration Medical Center (Spokane), Lincoln County Hospital (Washington), Shriner’s
Hospital and numerous physician offices and clinics. We serve as Laboratory Medical Directors at Deaconess Medical
Center, Shriner’s Hospital and Lincoln County Hospital.
We provide rapid, personalized service covering a broad range of anatomic and clinical pathology. All reports are part
of the Inland Northwest Health Services Meditech Electronic Medical Record. In conjunction with Quest Diagnostics,
we provide regional service with couriers, local laboratory testing and anatomic pathology. Esoteric testing is
distributed to Quest Diagnostics. All new diagnoses of cancer are reviewed internally, and anatomic pathology
consultations are sent to internationally recognized experts e.g. Cleveland and Mayo Clinics, Stanford University.
Patient or physician requested second opinions use the same consultants.
